Regionalism and Globalism in Youngstown
Jim Cossler writes that “[t]he truly international nature of our software sales struck home again recently when Zethus Software announced that they would be installing their Coherent Modeling software at Bridgestone Firestone’s technical centers in Tokyo, Japan and Rome, Italy. Zethus now becomes the fourth YBI company to register international sales. Sales that have put our products collectively into 32 foreign countries with over 1,000 unique customers to date.”
We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating again: the real way to build a regional economy is by focusing on meeting the needs of global markets. Having just come from an Ohio IT Alliance Board meeting in Columbus where this was a major topic for discussion, Jim’s email brought a big smile to my face.
