Communication and Inclusion – What people don’t understand they fear, but of equal importance is the need for what businesses create to be of value and relevant to the people in the community.

  • Support commercial technology-based efforts to address healthcare disparities
  • Create regional messages that focus on key technology strengths and assets
  • Put technology in the classroom
  • Support after-school and in-school programs that demonstrate the important role technology can play in job training and high-paying job creation;
  • Invite school children into various technology businesses so that they can see for themselves the opportunities that await them
  • Develop community outreach programs for adults that do the same thing
  • Reinforce the importance of technology in making and keeping Northeast Ohio competitive in the global economy
  • Encourage more entrepreneurial education in the schools
  • Take advantage of projects like OneCleveland to enhance disadvantaged neighborhood access to online government, health, and educational services
  • Look for ways to use technological changes to enhance the urban core and to benefit minority communities
